Neal Mohan: The New CEO of YouTube
From humble beginnings to the top of the world
Neal Mohan is a self-made man who has risen to the top of the tech world. Born in India in 1973, Mohan immigrated to the United States with his family when he was a child. He went on to earn a degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
After graduating from Harvard, Mohan joined Google in 2007. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the head of product for YouTube in 2015. In this role, he oversaw the development of some of YouTube's most popular features, including the YouTube Red subscription service and the YouTube Kids app.
