Niclas Füllkrug came off the bench to score a dramatic 83rd-minute equaliser as Germany snatched a 1-1 draw against Spain in their 2022 Fifa World Cup opener.

Álvaro Morata had given Spain the lead in the 62nd minute, but Füllkrug's close-range finish ensured that Germany remain unbeaten in the tournament.

Spain remain the only team with a 100% record in the World Cup, but Germany will take heart from their second-half performance.
