Bucks Take Game 1 of Western Conference First Round Series

Antetokounmpo Dominates Inside, Finishes with Double-Double

Giannis Antetokounmpo put on a dominant performance in Game 1 of the Western Conference First Round series against the Dallas Mavericks, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 113-101 victory. The reigning MVP scored 37 points on 14-of-23 shooting from the field, and he also grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out 6 assists.

Antetokounmpo was particularly effective in the paint, where he was able to use his size and strength to bully his way to the basket. He also hit several key shots from the mid-range, and he made all three of his attempts from the free-throw line.

In addition to Antetokounmpo's big night, the Bucks also got solid contributions from Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday. Middleton scored 25 points, while Holiday added 18 points and 9 assists.

The Mavericks were led by Luka Dončić, who scored 26 points. However, Dončić was not able to get much help from his teammates, as no other Maverick scored more than 15 points.

The Bucks will now take a 1-0 lead in the series as they head to Dallas for Game 2 on Tuesday night.
