Apparent Suicide at Miami Hotel

Konstantin Koltsov, a former professional ice hockey player from Belarus and the ex-partner of tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, has died by apparent suicide at the age of 42. Koltsov was found dead in a Miami hotel on Monday.

Sabalenka, the current Australian Open tennis champion, posted a tribute to Koltsov on Instagram, saying that she was "heartbroken" by his death.

Koltsov was born in 1981 in Belarus, which was then part of the Soviet Union. He played professional hockey for several teams in Russia and Belarus before retiring in 2016.

After retiring from hockey, Koltsov worked as a coach for the Belarusian national ice hockey team. He also had a brief stint as the head coach of the Russian club Salavat Yulaev.

In 2018, Koltsov began dating Sabalenka. The couple was often seen together at tennis tournaments and other public events.

The circumstances surrounding Koltsov's death are still under investigation. However, his death has been ruled a suicide by the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner's Office.
