Early Life and College Career

Born on January 3, 1991 in Los Angeles, Morris was a four-star recruit coming out of high school. He chose to play college basketball at the University of Michigan, where he quickly established himself as a starting point guard. In his sophomore season, he led the Wolverines to the Big Ten Tournament championship and earned All-Big Ten honors.

NBA Career

The Los Angeles Lakers selected Morris with the 41st overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. He made his NBA debut during the 2011-2012 season and played sparingly for the Lakers. However, he made a memorable start in Game 4 of the 2012 Western Conference semifinals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, becoming the youngest player in Lakers franchise history to start a playoff game.

Morris went on to play for the Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, and Brooklyn Nets during his NBA career. He averaged 4.7 points, 2.5 assists, and 1.8 rebounds per game in the NBA.

Post-NBA Career

After leaving the NBA in 2017, Morris played professionally in Europe for BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque in France. He had a successful season in France, averaging 12.3 points and 4.5 assists per game.
